There has been an Anglican presence in Stockholm since the time of Cromwell in the 17th century. The church building dates from 1866 and was originally sited in Wallingatan. The Church was moved, stone by stone, to its present site in 1913. Since 1980 the Church has been part of the Anglican Diocese of Europe. The Congregation consists of English-speaking people of many denominations and nationalities.
The church is located about 2km from the centre of Stockholm in an area referred to as Diplomatstaden. Buses go nearer than the Underground. In particular, buses 69 and 47 from Sergels Torg travel along Strandvägen. Use the map in Finding us or those in the yellow telephone pages for more information. (Page 32, E3).
